   After Tom's stint in the building and remodeling field after the Food Business, he went to school to become a software programmer. Immediately after graduating, he went into everything else computers in place of programming. Hardware, Consulting, Tech Support, MIS, IT, Shipping & Receiving, Product Management, and finally landed in Quality Assurance managing a crew of 12-20 testers.
   During his 7 years in Tech Support, Tom wrote 4 manuals, designed and programmed 3 software help files which helped bring out his Tech Writing skills. These skills have come in very handy throughout all of his careers. Throughout the years, Tom has put together a team of Tech Writer's that are on call at a moment's notice.

       During Tom's life in Technical Support, he gathered many skills in testing software, testing products. After some time in Product Management, he moved over to the Quality Assurance Department at Mindscape. Running a crew of 12-20 testers, writing reports, analyzing spreadsheets, creating and implementing Test Plans and lot's of meetings, QA Testing became a way of life to Tom.
       These skills have are now part of his being and have really helped take all the projects he is involved in to the highest level of quality in an easy and smooth manner. He can see the big picture and knows what to expect down the road. Most of the Tech Writers Tom has on call are also Quality Assurance Testers as well, both Tech Writing and QA are along the same lines of skill sets.
